Council's price list

Free DIY allowance

Up to 4 visits in any 4-week period (max 1 visit per week); each visit up to 2 small (50L) bags of DIY waste or 1 bulky DIY item. Loose waste (e.g. soil/rubble) is ineligible; must be in proprietary rubble bags. Only for householders' own DIY works.

From Brent's pages, quoted or summarised.

In England, councils can't charge householders for their own DIY waste up to two 50 litre bags, or one item up to 2000 x 750 x 700mm, per visit, for up to four visits in four weeks. They can charge above that. Check your load.
