In England, councils can't charge householders for their own DIY waste up to two 50 litre bags, or one item up to 2000 x 750 x 700mm, per visit, for up to four visits in four weeks. They can charge above that. Check your load.

Good to know

Waldo Road RRC (Bromley) is temporarily closed for depot upgrade works and due to reopen in mid-November 2026 (exact date TBC, booking initially required). Baths Road weekend site operates only until Waldo Road reopens and takes a limited range of bulky items, no DIY waste, no pedestrians/cyclists. Seasonal weekend green garden waste sites also run (Norman Park, Hook Farm Road, Saturdays 11am-4pm until 28 November). Churchfields Road closed 25, 26 Dec and 1 Jan.
