In England, councils can't charge householders for their own DIY waste up to two 50 litre bags, or one item up to 2000 x 750 x 700mm, per visit, for up to four visits in four weeks. They can charge above that. Check your load.
Vans, pickups and trailers
No permit scheme stated
Cars need a vehicle permit (issued on site after ID and proof-of-address check) or must bring ID and proof of address. Permits are not issued for vans. Vans only at Factory Lane, Tue and Wed 11am-1pm; max 5m long and 2.6m high; no tippers, no Lutons, no trade waste, max 6 bags of rubble. Cars with trailers not accepted at any site. Pick-ups over 5m not accepted.
