Council's price list

Free DIY allowance

No DIY allowance wording published. Items list includes 'rubble/soil/hardcore (max 5 bags)' for booked car visits; no charge stated for residents in cars.

From Harrow's pages, quoted or summarised.

In England, councils can't charge householders for their own DIY waste up to two 50 litre bags, or one item up to 2000 x 750 x 700mm, per visit, for up to four visits in four weeks. They can charge above that. Check your load.

Vans, pickups and trailers

No permit scheme stated

Only cars can use the booking system. 'All vans will be charged and should report to the weigh bridge office' (vans pay trade rates above). Car-towed trailers need a booking and report to the weighbridge for checks; vans towing trailers are charged.
