Van or trailer permit must be applied for online in advance; any Merthyr resident can apply; bring photo ID and proof of address (photo driving licence covers both). Commercial-type vehicles or trailers without a permit cannot tip. No lorries or vehicles over 3.5 tonnes. Visit limits not stated.
