Council's price list

Free DIY allowance

Household DIY waste is free within the 'DIY Household Waste Criteria' copied from the English 2023 regulations: under 100 litres (two 50-litre bags) or one item no larger than 2000mm x 750mm x 700mm per visit, and no more than four visits per household in any four-week period. Above that, charges apply. The council says there is no legal obligation in Wales to take DIY waste free.

From Pembrokeshire's pages, quoted or summarised.

In Wales the English DIY waste rules don't apply, so each Welsh council sets its own limits. What this council says is shown above.
